According to the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics, approximately 20% of small businesses fail within their first year. By the end of their fifth year, roughly 50% have fallen by the wayside. After a decade, only around a third survive. With this in mind, the sheer endurance of our seven companies lasting over 20 years becomes a humbling milestone.
Beyond the statistics, what truly signifies this achievement is the intangible value these businesses had managed to create and nurture. Each company has created meaningful work for people, created career-building opportunities and each represents a bold idea that refused to buckle under the pressures of the marketplace, instead adapting, growing, and ultimately becoming a valuable part of the business landscape.
